Tips:
- Use a variety of nuts and seeds. This will give your cookie bars a more interesting flavor and texture. Some good options include almonds, walnuts, pecans, cashews, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds.
- Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the cookie bars tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Chill the dough before baking. This will help the cookie bars hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
- Bake the cookie bars until they are golden brown. Overbaking will make them dry and crumbly.
- Let the cookie bars cool completely before cutting them into bars. This will help them hold their shape.
