Tips:

  • Use a variety of nuts and seeds. This will give your cookie bars a more interesting flavor and texture. Some good options include almonds, walnuts, pecans, cashews, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds.
  • Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the cookie bars tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking. This will help the cookie bars hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the cookie bars until they are golden brown. Overbaking will make them dry and crumbly.
  • Let the cookie bars cool completely before cutting them into bars. This will help them hold their shape.

Conclusion:

Trail mix cookie bars are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are packed with nuts, seeds, and dried fruit, making them a healthy and nutritious snack. Plus, they are so versatile that you can customize them to your own liking. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy snack, give trail mix cookie bars a try. You won't be disappointed!
