Tips:
- Use day-old bread: Day-old bread will absorb more of the flavorful liquids in the stuffing, resulting in a more moist and flavorful stuffing.
- Toast the bread cubes: Toasting the bread cubes before adding them to the stuffing will help them to hold their shape and prevent them from becoming soggy.
- Use a variety of herbs and spices: A variety of herbs and spices will add flavor and depth to the stuffing. Some popular choices include sage, thyme, rosemary, parsley, garlic, and onion.
- Add vegetables to the stuffing: Vegetables such as celery, carrots, and onions will add flavor, texture, and nutrients to the stuffing.
- Use chicken or vegetable broth: Chicken or vegetable broth will add flavor and moisture to the stuffing. You can also use water, but the stuffing will be less flavorful.
