Time 1h15m

Yield 4

Number Of Ingredients 7

4 (6 ounce) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
½ (12 ounce) bottle garlic and herb marinade
16 fresh basil leaves
1 large tomato, thinly sliced
4 slices provolone cheese
12 slices bacon
¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan

  • Cook in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Turn chicken, and cook 15 minutes more. Remove from oven, and sprinkle chicken with Parmesan. Return to oven, and cook until cheese is melted, about 2 to 3 minutes.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe, firm tomatoes: The best tomatoes for stuffing are ripe, firm, and have no blemishes. Avoid tomatoes that are soft or have cracks or bruises.
  • Use a variety of stuffings: You can use any type of stuffing you like for your tomatoes, but some popular options include rice, bread crumbs, ground beef, and sausage. You can also add vegetables, herbs, and spices to your stuffing to taste.
  • Cook the tomatoes properly: Tomatoes can be cooked in a variety of ways, but the most common methods are baking and stewing. When baking tomatoes, place them in a baking dish and bake them at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-40 minutes, or until they are tender. When stewing tomatoes, place them in a pot with a small amount of liquid and simmer them over low heat for 1-2 hours, or until they are tender.
  • Serve the tomatoes immediately: Stuffed tomatoes are best served immediately after they are cooked. You can garnish them with fresh herbs or a dollop of sour cream or yogurt.

Conclusion:

Stuffed tomatoes are a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed as an appetizer, main course, or side dish. They are easy to make and can be customized to your liking. With a little creativity, you can create a stuffed tomato dish that will impress your family and friends.
