Tips:

  • Choose high-quality ingredients: Use fresh, ripe tomatoes, flavorful kielbasa, and high-quality penne pasta. Fresh herbs like basil or parsley can add a pop of flavor to the dish.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When cooking the kielbasa and vegetables, make sure not to overcrowd the pan. This will prevent them from cooking evenly and becoming soggy.
  • Cook the pasta al dente: Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions, but be sure to cook it al dente, or slightly firm to the bite. This will help it hold its shape and prevent it from becoming mushy.
  • Add the pasta to the sauce: Once the sauce is simmering, add the cooked pasta to the pan and stir to combine. This will allow the pasta to absorb the flavorful sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs: Before serving, garnish the pasta with fresh herbs like basil or parsley for an extra touch of flavor and color.
