TOMATO & BASIL TURKEY BURGERS
I'd never used ground turkey before but saw this recipe in Recipes + and was itching to try it. These burgers are so easy & so full of flavour, you can use any flavour gourmet chunky dip, I used a mixture of the red pepper & basil ones. In Australia these dips are made by Wattle Valley and a few other companies, I'm not sure of the availability overseas but recipe #222384 or something similar could be used as the dip addition.

Tips:
Use ripe tomatoes: The riper the tomatoes, the sweeter and more flavorful your burgers will be.
Season the turkey well: Don't be afraid to use plenty of seasoning on your turkey burgers. This will help them to be flavorful and juicy.
Use fresh basil: Fresh basil is the best way to get the best flavor in your burgers. If you don't have fresh basil, you can use dried basil, but it won't be as flavorful.
Don't overcook the burgers: Turkey burgers are very easy to overcook, so be careful not to cook them for too long. Overcooked turkey burgers will be dry and tough.
Serve the burgers on toasted buns: Toasted buns will help to hold the burgers together and will also add a nice flavor.
Conclusion:
These tomato basil turkey burgers are a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional beef burgers. They're perfect for a summer cookout or a quick weeknight meal. With their juicy turkey, flavorful tomatoes and basil, and toasted buns, these burgers are sure to be a hit with everyone at your table.
