I clipped this from the newspaper to pass along to my daughter for my teething grandson. I thought I'd post it here for other "teethers". Sounds fairly healthy. Prep time does not include refrigeration time. Cooking time does not include the "oven cooling".

Tips:
- Choose the right ingredients: Use organic, non-GMO ingredients whenever possible. Look for whole grain flours, natural sweeteners, and healthy fats.
- Make them soft and easy to chew: Toddlers' teeth are still developing, so make sure the cookies are soft and easy for them to chew. You can do this by using ripe bananas, mashed sweet potatoes, or applesauce in the recipe.
- Add healthy ingredients: Boost the nutritional value of the cookies by adding fruits, vegetables, or nuts. Grated carrots, zucchini, or spinach are all great options.
- Keep them small: Toddlers have small mouths, so make the cookies small enough for them to eat easily. You can use a cookie scoop or a teaspoon to portion the dough.
- Bake them until they're golden brown: The cookies should be baked until they're golden brown and set in the center. This will ensure that they're cooked through and safe for toddlers to eat.
Conclusion:
Teething cookies are a great way to soothe your toddler's sore gums and provide them with essential nutrients. By following these tips, you can make delicious and healthy teething cookies that your toddler will love. Remember to introduce new foods one at a time to watch for any allergic reactions. And always consult with your pediatrician if you have any concerns about your toddler's diet.
