These are really yummy and I make them every year for the Christmas holidays. I especially like them stored in the fridge and eaten cold but they're great at room temp too!

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: The quality of your ingredients will have a big impact on the final product. Make sure to use real butter, pure vanilla extract, and high-quality chocolate.
  • Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy: This will help to incorporate air into the dough, making it light and tender.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make it tough. Mix it just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough will help it to hold its shape and prevent it from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the shortbread in a preheated oven: This will help to ensure that the cookies bake evenly.
  • Let the shortbread cool completely before frosting it: This will help to prevent the frosting from melting.

Conclusion:

Toblerone shortbread is a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. By following these tips, you can ensure that your shortbread turns out perfect every time.
