THREE-INGREDIENT BAKED CHICKEN BREASTS

Three-Ingredient Baked Chicken Breasts image

I use this as a basic baked chicken recipe when another recipe calls for cooked chicken. Works great for everything and is super customizable. Sometimes I use garlic salt or other seasonings, depending on what I'm using it for.

THREE-INGREDIENT STICKY BAKED CHICKEN

Three-Ingredient Sticky Baked Chicken image

From the Canadian Family Website: Sticky, sweet with a little savory soy sauce, this chicken is pure yummy. Destined to become a family favorite because kids love it and parents love the simplicity of this oven-to-table meal. I had a great result making this with bone in chicken leg thigh quarters. I had one piece that was skinless, and we discovered that using skinless does allow the flavor of the glaze to permeate the chicken better. This was a hit with my whole family - including my hard to please 3 year old. I used ketchup, reduced sodium soy, and lite maple syrup. Ingredients I happened to have on hand. This could NOT be easier. Adjust cooking times as needed for bone in cuts. Great with white rice and steamed broccoli. This recipe is so simple that you will probably have this assembled before your oven is preheated.

THREE INGREDIENT CHICKEN THIGHS

Three Ingredient Chicken Thighs image

This is incredibly easy to make and oh so delicious. You can use boneless thighs if you wish. I use a cooking rack so the thighs aren't sitting in all that grease and it leaves the skin nice and crunchy.

THREE INGREDIENT ORANGE CHICKEN RECIPE - (4.4/5)

Three Ingredient Orange Chicken Recipe - (4.4/5) image

Provided by Sharon T

Number Of Ingredients 9

ORANGE CHICKEN SAUCE
1 cup BBQ Sauce (Sweet Baby Ray's)
1 cup sweet orange marmalade (Smucker's)
2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
CRISPY CHICKEN
3 to 4 chicken breasts, We used 3)
1 cup flour or cornstarch, You can use both or either/or)
2 eggs
Oil (We used vegetable oil)

Steps:

  • In a sauce pan, add the BBQ sauce, marmalade, and soy sauce. Turn the heat on low and let it simmer for 20 minutes, stirring a few times. Meanwhile, cut up your chicken breasts into cubes. In one bowl beat 2 eggs, while the other bowl should mix the dry ingredients. Dip pieces of chicken in the egg and then cover in flour/cornstarch. Set on an extra plate. Add a thin layer of oil to a frying pan and turn your stove on medium/high heat. Once it sizzles, add half the chicken to the pan then cook the other half so they cook evenly. Let it cook for 3-5 minutes each side until it's brown and cooked on the inside. Add the chicken to the sauce and toss!

Tips:

  • Choose the right chicken: Boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs work best for this recipe. If you're using chicken breasts, pound them thin to ensure even cooking.
  • Use a large skillet: This will help the chicken cook evenly and prevent it from overcrowding.
  • Don't overcrowd the skillet: Cook the chicken in batches if necessary to prevent it from steaming instead of searing.
  • Cook the chicken over medium heat: This will help it cook through without burning.
  • Don't overcook the chicken: Overcooked chicken is dry and tough. Cook it until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the chicken rest before serving: This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, making it more tender and juicy.

Conclusion:

This three-ingredient chicken is a quick, easy, and delicious weeknight meal. It's perfect for busy families or anyone who wants a healthy and flavorful meal without a lot of fuss. Serve it with your favorite sides, such as rice, potatoes, or vegetables.
