This recipe is a hit wherever you go. It is a very rich and cheesy meal and looks like a deep-dish pizza when done. I altered what I was originally given because I did not like cottage cheese and added other ingredients that I thought it deserved.

Tips:

  • Jumbo pasta shells are a great choice for stuffing, as they can hold a lot of filling and are easy to eat.
  • Use a variety of cheeses in your filling to create a rich and flavorful dish. Some good options include ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and cheddar.
  • Cook the pasta shells al dente, so that they are still slightly firm. This will help to prevent them from becoming too soft and mushy when they are stuffed.
  • Don't overstuff the pasta shells, or they will burst open during baking. Aim to fill each shell with about 1/2 cup of filling.
  • Bake the stuffed pasta shells in a covered baking dish. This will help to keep them moist and prevent them from drying out.
  • Serve the stuffed pasta shells with your favorite sauce. Some good options include marinara sauce, Alfredo sauce, or pesto.
