THREE CHEESE HOT ARTICHOKE DIP

THREE CHEESE HOT ARTICHOKE DIP image

Categories     Condiment/Spread     Cheese     Appetizer     Bake     Cocktail Party     Vegetarian     Quick & Easy

Yield 6 people

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 (8 ounces) block cream cheese, softened
1 cup mayonnaise
1 (14 ounces) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
2 green onions, sliced thin
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1 cup shredded mozzarella
Dash hot sauce
Dash Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with a hand held electric mixer until smooth. Then beat in the mayonnaise until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and stir together until combined. Transfer the dip to a pie plate or shallow gratin dish. Bake in a preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes until the top is golden brown and the dip is bubbling. Serve hot with crackers, tortilla chips, crostini or veggies.

Tips:

  • Use a variety of cheeses. This will give your dip a more complex flavor and texture. Consider using a combination of hard, soft, and spreadable cheeses.
  • Shred the cheese yourself. Pre-shredded cheese contains additives that can prevent it from melting smoothly. Shredding the cheese yourself will also help to ensure that it melts evenly.
  • Use a slow cooker or fondue pot. This will help to keep your dip warm and gooey for hours. If you don't have a slow cooker or fondue pot, you can also make the dip in a saucepan over low heat.
  • Add some extras. To add even more flavor and texture to your dip, try adding some cooked bacon, diced tomatoes, or chopped green onions.
  • Serve with your favorite dippers. Some popular dippers for cheese dip include tortilla chips, pita bread, and vegetables.

Conclusion:

Three-cheese dip is a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that is perfect for any occasion. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a dip that is sure to please everyone. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy snack, give this three-cheese dip a try. You won't be disappointed!
