SASSY & SPICY THREE BEAN DIP
This is my first recipe post! I came up with it when I was trying to duplicate my favorite spicy bean dip that is no longer sold at my grocery store. Everyone LOVES this dip and I am asked to make all the time. The only complaint is that there is never enough! It is pretty easy to make as you just throw all the ingredients into a food processor. It can be used as a filling for burritos, tacos or tostadas as well. I sometimes add half a can (15 oz)of Vegitarian Medium Chili to the food processor as well (for the texture of the TVP). Adjust the heat to your liking. Hope you enjoy! Adios!

THREE-PEPPER BEAN DIP
My husband's great-grandmother and I spent time together creating this recipe after trying a similar version from his aunt. So it not only tastes delicious, it also has a lot of sentimental value. -Amber Massey, Coppell, Texas

Tips:
- Choose the right beans: For a classic three-bean dip, use a combination of black beans, pinto beans, and kidney beans. You can also use other types of beans, such as chickpeas, navy beans, or great northern beans. Just be sure to use a variety of colors and textures for a more interesting dip.
- Soak the beans overnight: This will help to soften the beans and make them easier to digest. If you don't have time to soak the beans overnight, you can quick-soak them by boiling them for 1 minute, then turning off the heat and letting them sit for 1 hour.
- Use fresh, flavorful ingredients: The better the ingredients you use, the better your dip will taste. Use fresh vegetables, herbs, and spices. If you can, use homemade salsa or pico de gallo instead of store-bought.
- Don't overcook the beans: Overcooked beans will be mushy and bland. Cook the beans until they are just tender, but still hold their shape.
- Season the dip to taste: Once the dip is made, taste it and adjust the seasonings as needed. Add more salt, pepper, garlic, or chili powder until it reaches the desired flavor.
Conclusion:
Three-bean dip is a delicious, versatile dish that can be served as an appetizer, snack, or side dish. It's also a great way to use up leftover beans. With its simple ingredients and bold flavors, three-bean dip is sure to be a hit at your next party or gathering.
