THE REALTOR'S SALSA ROMANA (NOT HOT)
Use this like bruschetta on pasta, fish and garlic toast. I really like it served with a big, juicy steak off the grill. In the summertime when the tomatoes are fresh, this is a fabulous way to use them up! Sometimes I add about a couple of teaspoons of lemon juice for extra zing. It needs to sit for an hour or 2 so the flavors can blend so be sure to allow time for that.

Tips:
- Use ripe tomatoes: The riper the tomatoes, the sweeter and more flavorful the salsa will be.
- Roast the tomatoes: Roasting the tomatoes intensifies their flavor and gives the salsa a smoky, charred taste.
- Don't over-process the salsa: A chunky salsa is more flavorful than a smooth salsa.
- Add some heat: If you like spicy salsa, add some chopped jalapeños or cayenne pepper.
- Season to taste: Be sure to taste the salsa and adjust the seasonings as needed.
