- 10. NOTE--If you decide to use the peppers and mushrooms, add them all back to the meat to heat through prior to plating.
Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the sandwich will be. Look for fresh, flavorful bread, thinly sliced steak, and gooey cheese.
- Don't overcook the steak: The steak should be cooked to your desired doneness, but it's important not to overcook it. Otherwise, it will become tough and chewy.
- Use a good quality cheese: The cheese is a key ingredient in a Philly cheesesteak, so it's important to use a good quality cheese that melts well. Some popular choices include Cheez Whiz, American cheese, and provolone.
- Add your favorite toppings: There are many different toppings that you can add to a Philly cheesesteak, such as onions, peppers, mushrooms, and hot sauce. Get creative and experiment with different combinations to find your perfect sandwich.
- Enjoy your sandwich immediately: A Philly cheesesteak is best enjoyed fresh out of the oven. The bread will be crispy, the cheese will be melted and gooey, and the steak will be juicy and flavorful.
Conclusion:
The Philly cheesesteak is a classic sandwich that is loved by people all over the world. It's a simple sandwich, but it's the perfect combination of flavors and textures. If you've never had a Philly cheesesteak, I highly recommend trying one. You won't be disappointed.
