Tips:

  • Select the right zucchini: Choose medium-sized zucchinis that are firm and have a deep green color. Avoid zucchinis that are too large or have blemishes.
  • Prepare the zucchini properly: Wash the zucchinis thoroughly and trim off the ends. Cut them into small cubes or grate them using a food processor.
  • Drain the zucchini well: After grating or cubing the zucchini, place it in a colander and sprinkle it with salt. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes, then drain off the excess moisture.
  • Use fresh herbs: Fresh herbs like basil, parsley, and dill add a wonderful flavor to zucchini dip. Chop them finely before adding them to the dip.
  • Adjust the seasoning to taste: Taste the dip and adjust the seasoning as needed. Add more lemon juice, salt, or pepper if desired.
  • Chill the dip before serving: Chilling the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving allows the flavors to meld and develop.
