Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients: Fresh vegetables, flavorful spices, and lean ground turkey will make a big difference in the taste of your chili.
- Don't overcrowd the pot: If you're using a large pot, it's tempting to try to cram in as many ingredients as possible. However, this will make the chili watery and bland. Instead, use a smaller pot or cook the chili in batches.
- Let the chili simmer: The longer you simmer the chili, the more flavorful it will be. Aim to simmer the chili for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours if you have the time.
- Taste the chili as you go: Season the chili to taste with salt, pepper, and other spices. You can also add more vegetables or broth if you want the chili to be thicker or thinner.
- Serve with your favorite toppings: Top the chili with shredded cheese, sour cream, avocado, chopped onions, or anything else you like. This is a great way to add extra flavor and texture to the chili.
