Tips:

  • Fresh is best: Use fresh spinach and artichoke hearts for the best flavor. If using frozen spinach, thaw and squeeze out excess water before using.
  • Don't overcook the spinach: Spinach wilts quickly, so be careful not to overcook it. Cook just until wilted, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Use a good quality cheese: The cheese is one of the main ingredients in this dip, so use a good quality cheese that you enjoy. A sharp cheddar or Parmesan cheese are both good choices.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment: This recipe is a great base for experimentation. You can add other ingredients to taste, such as chopped bacon, diced tomatoes, or even a little bit of heat from cayenne pepper.
  • Serve warm: Spinach artichoke dip is best served warm, so make it just before you're ready to serve it.

Conclusion:

Spinach artichoke dip is a delicious and versatile appetizer that is perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste.
