Tips:

  • Use high-quality mincemeat. Look for a mincemeat that is made with real fruit, spices, and suet. Avoid using mincemeat that is made with fillers, such as bread crumbs or corn syrup.
  • Chill the dough before baking. Chilling the dough will help to prevent the cookies from spreading too much in the oven. If you are short on time, you can chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  • Bake the cookies at the right temperature. The cookies should be baked at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown. If you bake the cookies at too high of a temperature, they will burn.
  • Let the cookies cool before frosting them. This will help to prevent the frosting from melting.
  • Store the cookies in an airtight container. This will help to keep them fresh for up to 2 weeks.

Conclusion:

Mincemeat cookies are a delicious and festive holiday treat. They are easy to make and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. With a few simple tips, you can make sure that your mincemeat cookies turn out perfect every time.
