Tips:

  • Use fresh blackberries. Fresh blackberries have the best flavor and texture. If you can't find fresh blackberries, you can use frozen blackberries, but be sure to thaw them before using.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing the batter will make the crisp tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Spread the crisp evenly in the baking dish. This will help it cook evenly.
  • Bake the crisp until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling. This usually takes about 30-40 minutes.
  • Let the crisp cool for a few minutes before serving. This will help it set and make it easier to cut.

Conclusion:

Blackberry crisp is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its sweet and tart filling and crispy topping, it is sure to be a hit with everyone. So next time you are looking for a delicious dessert, give blackberry crisp a try. You won't be disappointed!
