I got this recipe from one of my dearest friends who used to bring this every Thanksgiving when our families got together. She since moved away and I don't see her often enough, but it just wouldn't be Thanksgiving without her Cranberry Salad!!

Steps:
- 1. Strain pineapple & reserve liquid. Add enough water to make 1 cup. Bring this to a boil in saucepan and dissolve jello in hot liquid. Add 1 cup COLD water and chill until thick but not set.
- 2. Add remaining ingredients to thickened jello and pour into a 2 quart mold. Chill until firm.

- Whip cream and beat in cream cheese.
- In a glass serving dish, layer half of the cranberry mixture, then the whipped cream mixture, then the remaining cranberry mixture.
