Tips:

  • Use a large freezer bag or glass dish to marinate the chicken. This will allow the marinade to evenly coat the chicken.
  • Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes, but no longer than 24 hours. Marinating the chicken for too long can make it tough.
  • If you are using a wooden skewer to thread the chicken, soak the skewer in water for 30 minutes before using. This will prevent the skewer from burning.
  • Cook the chicken over medium-high heat. This will help to caramelize the marinade and create a delicious crust.
  • Baste the chicken with the remaining marinade while it is cooking. This will help to keep the chicken moist and flavorful.

Conclusion:

This Texas Teriyaki Marinade is a delicious and easy way to add flavor to your chicken. The combination of soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger creates a marinade that is both sweet and savory. Whether you are grilling, baking, or pan-frying your chicken, this marinade will help you to create a delicious and memorable meal.
