Tips:
- Choose the right salmon: Opt for skinless, boneless salmon fillets to make the burgers. Look for fresh, vibrant-colored fish with a mild, briny aroma.
- Use quality ingredients: Fresh herbs, flavorful spices, and a good-quality teriyaki sauce will elevate the taste of your burgers.
- Don't overmix the salmon mixture: Overmixing can make the burgers tough. Combine the ingredients gently until just combined.
- Shape the burgers gently: Use a light touch to form the burger patties. Avoid pressing them too tightly, as this can also result in tough burgers.
- Cook the burgers over medium heat: This will help prevent the burgers from drying out. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Toast the buns: Toasting the buns adds a nice crispy texture and flavor to the burgers.
- Add your favorite toppings: Experiment with different toppings to create your perfect burger. Some popular options include lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, and cheese.
