TERIYAKI ONION BURGERS

These are so simple but packed with flavour even with only a few ingredients. I served these on buns with some cheese, caramelised onions, lettuce & tomato chutney, yummo. Found in a flier from my local butcher. You may not need the water especially if using meat that has been frozen, use your own judgment.

Time 25m

Yield 4-6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 4

500 g ground beef
2 tablespoons water
35 g French onion soup mix
1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients and shape into patties or burgers.
  • Cook on a BBQ or grill until done to your liking.
  • Serve on buns with barbecued onions and salad leaves.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ground beef. This will make a big difference in the flavor of your burgers.
  • Don't overmix the meat. Overmixing will make the burgers tough.
  • Season the meat well. Use a combination of salt, pepper, and your favorite spices.
  • Form the burgers into patties that are about 1/2-inch thick. This will help them cook evenly.
  • Cook the burgers over medium heat. This will help them cook through without burning.
  • Don't flip the burgers too often. Flipping them too often will make them dry.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the burgers. They're done when they reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the burgers rest for a few minutes before serving. This will help them retain their juices.

Conclusion:
