Tips:

  • Choose the right fish: Firm-fleshed fish like salmon, cod, or halibut work best for teriyaki. If using frozen fish, thaw it completely before cooking.
  • Make sure the teriyaki sauce is thick and glossy: The sauce should coat the fish and noodles evenly. If it's too thin, add a cornstarch slurry (equal parts cornstarch and water) and cook until thickened.
  • Don't overcook the fish: Fish cooks quickly, so be careful not to overcook it. Overcooked fish will be dry and tough.
  • Serve immediately: Teriyaki fish and noodles is best served immediately, while the fish is still hot and juicy.

Teriyaki fish and noodles is a quick and easy weeknight meal that's packed with flavor. The combination of sweet, savory, and tangy teriyaki sauce with tender fish and chewy noodles is sure to please everyone at the table.
