Tips:
- Use a good quality tequila. This will make a big difference in the flavor of the dish. A reposado or añejo tequila is a good choice.
- Don't overcook the turkey. Turkey can easily become dry and tough if it's overcooked. Cook it until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Use a flavorful sauce. The sauce is what really brings this dish together. Use a creamy sauce with a little bit of a kick. A chipotle cream sauce or a tequila cream sauce are both good options.
- Add some fresh vegetables. Vegetables add color, flavor, and nutrients to the dish. Some good options include bell peppers, onions, and zucchini.
- Serve with a side of rice or pasta. This will help to soak up the sauce and make the dish more filling.
