EASY SESAME CASHEW NOODLES

You might want to double up on the sauce ingredients and increase the pasta amount slightly. This sauce is better if prepared a day or even two days in advance and refrigerated, to allow the flavors to blend, but allow to sit until room temperature before using. This makes a great side dish!

Tips:

  • Use high-quality tempeh. Look for tempeh that is firm and has a slightly nutty flavor. Avoid tempeh that is too soft or has a sour smell.
  • Press the tempeh before cooking. This will help to remove excess moisture and make the tempeh more flavorful.
  • Marinate the tempeh. This will help to infuse the tempeh with flavor. You can use a simple marinade made with soy sauce, rice vinegar, and garlic, or you can get creative and try different flavor combinations.
  • Cook the tempeh until it is slightly crispy. This will give the tempeh a nice texture and make it more flavorful.
  • Use a variety of vegetables in your noodle dish. This will add flavor, color, and nutrients to the dish.
  • Don't overcook the noodles. Cook the noodles according to the package directions, or until they are al dente.
  • Serve the noodle dish immediately. This will ensure that the noodles are fresh and flavorful.
