- Into the pan of cooked pasta, add the tin of tomatoes, the tuna, the butter, crushed garlic, paprika, salt and pepper to taste and chili flakes. Stir and bring to a simmer to finish cooking the pasta.
- Add the pasta water saved previously and stir in whilst still simmering, then add the cheese in and stir this in. Simmer until the cheese has melted and then serve, adding more cheese, black pepper and chili flakes if needed.

EASY MACARONI TUNA CASSEROLE
This dish is super easy. It is also a very hearty delicious bowl of comfort food. The guys in my house loved it. I loved this recipe but I used cream of mushroom soup and added the cheese into the casserole. I also melted butter and added bread crumbs to the top before baking, then sprinkle top lightly with dill seasoning. The resulting casserole was very creamy and flavorful.

MACARONI TUNA CASSEROLE
This dish is so easy to fix, and the flavor is better than any tuna helper I've ever tried. It was a staple when I was in college since a box of macaroni and cheese and a can of tuna cost so little. -Suzanne Zick, Osceola, Arkansas

TASTY TUNA MACARONI
My fiance and I love cooking for each other, even though most of the time we end up cooking up a box of mac 'n cheese. I try to change things up a bit by adding things I have on hand. This is one I came up with one night that ended up being very good and I make it over and over on those nights when I don't have a lot of time and I don't want to make just another box of macaroni.

Steps:
- Boil water for macaroni and begin cooking as directed on package (usually approximately 8 minutes.).
- Heat butter in small sauce pan.
- Add mushrooms, onion, parsley, basil, paprika, and red pepper to pan. Let cook for about 3 minutes (until onions are transparent).
- Add a dash of the liquid from the tuna to the pan. Drain the rest and add tuna to pan.
- Stir in about 2/3 of the can of tomatoes, the rest can either be mixed in or served on top.
- Lower heat and let simmer for a couple minutes.
- When the noodles are cooked, drain and return to pan.
- Mix the milk, cheese powder, and tuna mixture to the noodles.
- Serve with a scoop of tomatoes on top. (optional).
Tips:
- Use high-quality tuna: Opt for tuna that is packed in water or oil, as it will have a better flavor and texture than tuna packed in brine.
- Cook the macaroni al dente: This will prevent it from becoming mushy when it is combined with the other ingredients.
- Use a variety of vegetables: Adding different vegetables, such as peas, carrots, and celery, will add flavor and texture to the dish.
- Don't skimp on the cheese: Cheese is what makes tuna macaroni so creamy and delicious, so be sure to use a generous amount.
- Season the dish to taste: Salt, pepper, and garlic powder are all great ways to add flavor to tuna macaroni.
Conclusion:
Tuna macaroni is a quick, easy, and affordable meal that is perfect for busy weeknights. It is also a great way to use up leftover tuna. With its creamy, cheesy sauce and flavorful tuna, tuna macaroni is a surefire hit with the whole family. So next time you are looking for a simple and satisfying meal, give tuna macaroni a try.
