Time 20m

Number Of Ingredients 8

4 1 - 1 1/2 inch thick - boneless pork chops
5 clove garlic
4 Tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper - optional
2 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp each - kosher salt & hungarian paprika
1/2 tsp pepper
1 Tbsp fresh chopped parsley or fav herb

Steps:

  • 1. Process all ingredients ( except pork ) in food processor until garlic is finely minced. Place chops in a resealable baggie and add mixture from processor. Close bag and massage seasoning mixture into the pork, evenly. Place in refrigerator over night. Over a medium heated grill, grill on each side 5 - 6 minutes or until cooked through. Plate and enjoy!

Tips:

  • Choose high-quality pork chops: Look for chops that come from pigs that have been raised and fed humanely, without antibiotics or hormones.
  • Brine the chops before cooking: Brining helps to tenderize the chops and keep them moist. You can brine the chops in a simple solution of water, kosher salt, and brown sugar for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
  • Make sure the grill is hot before cooking the chops: A hot grill will help to sear the chops and prevent them from sticking.
  • Cook the chops over medium-high heat: This will help to quickly sear the chops and cook them evenly.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the chops: The chops are done cooking when they reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare or 160 degrees Fahrenheit for medium.
  • Let the chops rest before serving: This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the chops and make them more tender.

Conclusion:

Grilled pork chops are a delicious and easy-to-make meal. By following these tips, you can cook perfect pork chops every time. So fire up your grill and get cooking!
