Tips:

  • Use fresh cranberries for the best flavor. If you must use frozen cranberries, thaw them completely before using.
  • To make the gravy ahead of time, cook it according to the recipe and then let it cool completely. Store the gravy in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When ready to serve, reheat the gravy over low heat until warmed through.
  • If you don't have a food processor, you can mash the cranberries by hand. Just place them in a bowl and use a potato masher or fork to mash them until they are finely chopped.
  • If you like a sweeter gravy, you can add more sugar or honey to taste.
  • For a smoother gravy, strain it through a fine-mesh sieve before serving.
  • Serve the gravy with your favorite roasted meats, poultry, or vegetables.

Conclusion:

Tangy cranberry gravy is a delicious and easy-to-make condiment that is perfect for the holiday season. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a flavorful gravy that will add a festive touch to your meals.
