Tips:

  • Use fresh citrus fruits: Fresh citrus fruits provide the best flavor for this dressing. If you can, use a variety of citrus fruits, such as oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruits.
  • Zest the citrus fruits before juicing them: Zesting the citrus fruits will add an extra burst of flavor to the dressing. Be sure to zest the fruits before juicing them, as this will help to prevent the zest from becoming bitter.
  • Use a good quality olive oil: The olive oil you use will also affect the flavor of the dressing. Choose a good quality olive oil that has a fruity flavor.
  • Add some honey or maple syrup: A little bit of honey or maple syrup will help to balance out the tartness of the citrus fruits.
  • Season to taste: Be sure to season the dressing to taste with salt and pepper. You may also want to add a pinch of garlic powder or onion powder.
  • Use the dressing immediately or store it in the refrigerator for later use: This dressing is best when used immediately, but it can also be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
