1 large onion, chopped
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup salsa
1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chiles
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
3 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls
Optional: Shredded lettuce, sliced ripe olives, chopped tomatoes and sliced seeded jalapeno pepper

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the cheese, salsa, chiles, garlic powder, hot pepper sauce, salt and cumin. , Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into 12 rectangles. 8 large flour tortillas
1 (31 ounce) can fat-free refried beans
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream (can use Reduced Fat)
1/8 cup taco seasoning (1 pkg)
3 scallions, chopped

Steps:

  • In one bowl, mash Refried Beans, add up to 1/2 cup water if necessary to make spreadable. (Beans should be the consistancy of peanut butter.)
  • In another bowl, mix Sour Cream, Taco Seasoning, and chopped green onion.
  • Spread 1/8 of Refried Beans on each Tortilla, then spread 1/8 Sour Cream mixture on each, overlapping bean mixture. Roll up.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight, so flavors can blend. (Can be served immediately if you prefer.)
  • Slice off unfilled ends, then slice remaining roll into 8 pieces.
  • Garnish with Cilantro, if desired.

1/4 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup salsa
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons chopped ripe olives
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
5 flour tortillas (8 inches), room temperature
1/2 cup shredded lettuce
Additional salsa

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Stir in the taco meat, cheese, salsa, mayonnaise, olives and onion. Spread over tortillas. Sprinkle with lettuce; roll up tightly. 1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons corn syrup
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided
1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°. Bake pecans and butter in a lightly greased 8-inch round cake pan 2 minutes. Swirl pan to combine, and bake 2 more minutes. Remove from oven, and stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon; spread mixture over bottom of pan.
  • Unroll crescent roll dough, and separate into 4 rectangles, pressing perforations to seal. Stir together granulated sugar and remaining 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon; sprinkle over rectangles. Roll up each rectangle tightly, starting at 1 long side; press edges to seal. Cut each log into 5 slices; place slices, cut sides down, in prepared pan. (Space slices equally in pan; slices will not touch.).
  • Bake at 375° for 14 to 16 minutes or until center rolls are golden brown and done. Remove from oven, and immediately invert pan onto a serving plate. Spoon any topping in pan over rolls.
