Tips:

  • Use a large skillet to brown the beef and vegetables. This will help to prevent overcrowding and ensure that the meat and vegetables cook evenly.
  • Season the taco meat to your liking. You can use a store-bought taco seasoning packet or make your own using chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Use a variety of vegetables in your taco pie. This will add flavor and texture to the dish. Some good options include bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and corn.
  • Don't overcook the taco meat. Overcooked meat will be tough and dry.
  • Use a sharp knife to cut the cornbread. This will help to prevent the cornbread from crumbling.
  • Serve the taco pie with your favorite toppings. Some good options include sour cream, salsa, guacamole, and shredded cheese.

Conclusion:

Taco pie is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. It is also a great way to use up leftover taco meat. With a few simple ingredients, you can create a tasty and satisfying meal that the whole family will enjoy.
