SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK BISCUITS ( COOKIES )

Sweetened Condensed Milk Biscuits ( Cookies ) image

These biscuits (cookies) are still my adult children favourites and I can never seem to make enough of them !! The secret of this biscuit is to chill the dough before baking. If making this recipe, please don't use skim milk or evaporated milk, only condensed milk.

BEST EVER SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK COOKIES

Best Ever Sweetened Condensed Milk Cookies image

These cookies were super easy to make. I made them for a Girl Scout activity and they were the first ones to go. I have made them several times with different cookie cutters for different holidays and they are always a success. I always make a sugar glaze even royal icing to decorate. I give you my word they will be a hit!!! Enjoy

Tips for Baking Sweetened Condensed Milk Biscuits:

  • Use room temperature ingredients: This will help the ingredients blend together more easily and create a smoother batter.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can make the biscuits tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking: This will help the biscuits hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the biscuits in a preheated oven: This will help them rise evenly and prevent them from becoming dry.
  • Don't overbake the biscuits: Overbaking will make them dry and crumbly. Bake just until the edges are golden brown.
