1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 large egg, beaten
1/2 c molasses
1/4 c brown sugar
1/4 c vegetable oil
1 tsp grated lemon or orange zest
2/3 c plain yogurt or buttermilk

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
  • 2. In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, cinnamon, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
  • 3. In a large bowl, combine the beaten egg, molasses, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and grated lemon or orange peel.

1 teaspoon salt
