1 teaspoon ground black pepper
½ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
4 (6 ounce) boneless center-cut pork loin chops, trimmed of fat
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cup low-sodium beef broth

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine rosemary, ground pepper, and salt; rub rosemary mixture on pork chops.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat; stir the garlic into the melted butter, then place the pork chops in the skillet. Cook the pork chops 3 to 5 minutes per side, or until golden brown.

¼ cup dry white wine
¼ cup soy sauce

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown pork chops in the hot oil on both sides, 5 to 7 minutes total.

6 boneless pork loin chops (4 ounces each)
3/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons cold water

Steps:

  • Sprinkle pork chops with pepper. In a large skillet coated with cooking spray, cook pork over medium heat for 4-6 minutes on each side or until lightly browned. Remove and keep warm. , Add the water, vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce to skillet; stir to loosen browned bits. Bring to a boil. 4 pork chops, 1/2 inch thick
salt & pepper
1 (8 1/2 ounce) can applesauce
1 cup sliced onion
1 cup catsup
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sage

Steps:

  • Season meat with salt& pepper.
  • Brown in skillet.
  • Combine applesauce, onion, catsup, water, soy sauce and sage.
  • Pour over meat.
  • Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until meat is tender.
  • I've cooked it longer and it is still tender, moist and the sauce it has simmered in is mouth-watering!
  • Use yellow or red onion-- I prefer red onion.
  • I've even used cinnamon applesauce I had on hand and the chops were just as tasty and delicious.
  • Often served with spanish rice and a green vegetable.

1/2 cup scallions (minced) or 1/3 cup chives (minced)
1/2 cup soy sauce (reduced sodium fine)
2/3 cup water
1/3 cup dry sherry
1/4 cup mirin (or 2 tbsp honey thinned with a little water)
2 tablespoons rice vinegar or 2 tablespoons white wine
4 -6 slices peeled fresh ginger (thin slices)
3 -4 garlic cloves

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 200°F.
  • In a large skillet mix together all sauce ingredients.
  • Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  • Turn heat to medium-low and simmer, uncovered, for about 5 minutes.
  • Add pork, cover, and simmer.
