Tips:

  • Choose the right rice: Glutinous rice (also known as sticky rice) is the best choice for this dish, as it has a sticky texture that will hold the orange flavor well.
  • Soak the rice: Soaking the rice for at least 30 minutes before cooking will help to reduce the cooking time and make the rice more tender.
  • Use fresh orange zest: Fresh orange zest has a much more intense flavor than dried zest, so it is worth taking the time to zest an orange yourself.
  • Cook the rice slowly: Cooking the rice slowly over low heat will help to prevent it from becoming mushy.
  • Serve warm: Sweet rice with orange rind is best served warm, so that the flavors can really shine through.

Conclusion:

Sweet rice with orange rind is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its vibrant orange flavor and sticky texture, it is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you are looking for a sweet treat, give this recipe a try.
