4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch slices
2 Granny Smith or Golden Delicious apples, cored, thinly sliced into rings
½ cup dried cranberries or raisins
½ cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 cup cranberries
⅓ cup orange juice
½ cup brown sugar, packed
¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon, or to taste
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg, or to taste
¼ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon melted butter
½ cup toasted, chopped pecans

Steps:

6 medium sweet potatoes
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
6 ounces pecan halves
2 cups fresh cranberries (Ocean Spray) or 2 cups frozen cranberries (Ocean Spray)
1 large apple, thinly sliced
1/2 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup water (or orange juice)
1/4 cup butter

Steps:

  • Put sweet potatoes in a large saucepan.
  • Add enough water to cover the potatoes.
  • Bring to a boil; cover and cook until potatoes are'fork' tender.
  • Cool slightly.

1 medium Granny Smith Apple, cored and diced into small (3/4 to 1") pieces
2 tablespoons dried cranberries
1 1/2 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • Combine all ingredients in Medium or Large Ziploc Zip'n Steam Bag. Seal bag and shake gently to combine ingredients. Pat ingredients into single layer. Place bag in microwave. Cook on full power for 8 to 9 minutes, or until sweet potatoes are tender. If needed, continue microwaving at 30 second intervals until sweet potatoes are tender.
