RUTH'S CHRIS SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE
This is absolutely divine! Ruth has done it again! Note, the first time I made this I noticed there was a bit of extra liquid left over, next time I will adjust the amount of butter and/or add a bit more potato.

Tripled this recipe, and made corrections from their original recipe on the website. Conversions were confusing me in the early AM of Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Tips:
- Choose the right sweet potatoes: Select firm, unblemished sweet potatoes with smooth skin and no signs of sprouting or bruising.
- Wash and pierce the potatoes: Before cooking, thoroughly wash the sweet potatoes and pierce them with a fork or knife to allow steam to escape during baking.
- Bake at a high temperature: Bake the sweet potatoes at a high temperature (400°F or 200°C) to caramelize the natural sugars and achieve a crispy exterior.
- Cook until tender: Insert a fork or knife into the center of a sweet potato to check for doneness. It should easily slide through when the potato is fully cooked.
- Let the potatoes cool slightly: Allow the sweet potatoes to cool slightly before handling to prevent breakage and make peeling easier.
- Mash with butter and spices: Use a potato masher to blend the sweet potatoes with butter, salt, pepper, and other desired spices until smooth and creamy.
- Garnish with fresh herbs: Top the mashed sweet potatoes with fresh herbs like chives, parsley, or cilantro for an extra burst of flavor and color.
