6 large sweet potatoes
1 cup milk, hot
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup black walnut
1 pinch salt

Steps:

  • Peel, boil and mash sweet potatoes.
  • Add hot milk, sugar and 3 tablespoons butter.
  • Add black walnuts and salt; mix thoroughly.
  • Place in greased baking dish.

3/4 cup orange juice
2 teaspoons cornstarch

1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 cup cooked white rice

Steps:
