Tips:
- To make a smooth and creamy sweet potato filling, be sure to use a food processor or blender to puree the cooked sweet potatoes until they are completely smooth.
- If you don't have a food processor or blender, you can also mash the cooked sweet potatoes by hand until they are smooth.
- Be sure to use a deep-dish pie plate when baking your sweet potato pie. This will help to prevent the filling from bubbling over the sides of the pie plate.
- To prevent the crust from becoming soggy, pre-bake it for 10-15 minutes before adding the filling.
- If you don't have time to make your own pie crust, you can use a store-bought pie crust instead.
