Tips:
- Use a good quality sausage for the best flavor. Look for a sausage that is made with fresh, ground pork and has a good balance of spices.
- Be sure to brown the sausage thoroughly before adding the sauce. This will help to develop the flavor of the sausage and prevent it from becoming greasy.
- Use a variety of toppings on your sandwiches. Some popular options include cheese, onions, peppers, and pickles.
- If you are using a sweet sauce, be sure to balance it out with a savory topping. For example, you could use a spicy mustard or a sharp cheddar cheese.
- Serve the sandwiches hot and fresh. They are best enjoyed right out of the oven.
