6 ordinary tea bags
2 tbsp caster sugar
10 sprigs mint
300ml fresh orange juice
juice 1 lime
1⁄2 sliced orange , mint leaves and ice to serve

Steps:

  • Make the tea with 1.2 litres water and the sugar. Add mint to the pot and infuse for 10 mins. Strain and cool.
  • Pour into a jug, stir in the juices and serve with orange slices, mint and plenty of ice.

  • In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil; remove from heat. Add tea bags; steep, covered, 3-5 minutes according to taste. Discard tea bags. Transfer to a pitcher; refrigerate until cool., Just before serving, stir in soda. Serve over ice; stir in sugar if desired.

1 cup sugar, I use Splenda

  • Put water and tea bags in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.

  • Put hot tea solution into a gallon pitcher and add sweetener, stirring to dissolve.

  • Place tea bags in a teapot; add boiling water. Cover and steep for 3 minutes; discard tea bags. Pour tea into a pitcher. Peel and section 2 oranges and 1 lemon; add to tea.   • Reduce heat, add juices and lime peel.
  • Simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes.

6 cloves
8 cups cold water
9 regular sized tea bags
1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
1/2 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

Steps:

  • Combine the cloves with two cups of water in a small saucepan.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, remove from heat and let cloves steep for at least 45 minutes, preferably 1 hour.
  • Bring two cups of the remaining water to a gentle boil in a small saucepan.
  • Add the tea bags, cover and remove from heat.
  • Let steep for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags with out squeezing them.
  • Squeezing them will release more tannins into your tea and make it bitter.
  • Strain the clove water into a 2 quart container.
  • Add the steeped tea, orange juice, lemon juice, and sugar.
  • Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  • Add the remaining 4 cups of water and stir to combine.
  • Let cool.
  • then chill and serve over ice.
