1/2 cup white Candy Melts™
1/2 cup seasonal M&M's® chocolate candies
1 tablespoon Valentine's candy sprinkles

Steps:

  • Line large cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper or waxed paper. Spread cereal, mini pretzels, popcorn and peanuts on cookie sheet.
  • In separate bowls, microwave Candy Melts™ on Medium (50%) in 1-minute intervals, stirring after each, just until melted.

Went to an alphabet pot luck tonight where everyone signed up to bring a dish that started with a particular letter of the alphabet. Of all the dishes (and there were lots of yummy ones), this was my favorite. I decided to name it after my friend's sweet daughter that made it.

1 cup light Karo syrup
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup butter (NOT margarine)
1 dash imitation butter flavoring
1 pinch baking soda
18 cups Chex cereal or 18 cups Crispix cereal, and nuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 250°F.
  • Melt together Karo syrup, sugar and butter in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil.
  • Add butter flavoring and baking soda, mix.
  • Pour over cereal mixture (use whatever quantities of cereal and nuts that you desire to make 18 cups).
  • Spread on a large, flat cookie sheet and bake at 250°F for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and spread Chex mixture on waxed paper, separating cereal pieces. Let cool completely.

4 cups bite-size Corn Chex
4 cups bite-size Rice Chex
2 cups pretzels (knots)
1 cup sliced almonds
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
6 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup dried blueberries or 1 cup dried cherries

Steps:

  • Combine corn and rice cereals, pretzels, and almonds together in large roasting pan or baking dish, set aside.
  • Bring to boil while stirring in a medium saucepan the brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup. When mixture comes to boiling point stop stirring and let boil for an additional 5 minutes over medium heat.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the baking soda. Pour immediately over cereal mixture. Stir gently to evenly coat cereal mixture.
  • Bake for 15 minutes in 300 degree oven. Stir and bake for an additional 5 minutes. Remove from oven, stir in dried fruit, and spread mixture on buttered foil to cool. Break into bite size pieces and store in airtight container.

2 cups of mixed nuts
1 cup brown sugar ( I have another recipe that says 1 1/2c.)
1 1/2 sticks of butter (3/4 cup)
1/3 cup light corn syrup
1/4 tsp baking soda

Steps:

  • mix cereal and nuts together in large bowl. set aside. melt butter, sugar and corn syrup in sauce pan over medium heat, boil 1 minute stirring constantly. remove from heat and stir in baking soda. stir 1 minute. (it will be foamy.). quickly pour mixture over cereal and nuts and stir until well combined. You can now use the oven or microwave. Microwave: your cereal mixture must be in a microwave safe bowl. Cook on high for 1 minute; stir and repeat 4 more times. Oven: put cereal mixture on cookie sheets covered with parchment paper. bake at 250 F for 15 min. Stir and bake another 15min. For Both methods: after baking or microwaving, spread the mixture out on the counter, covered with wax paper (or parchment paper )that has been sprayed with Pam. Let cool then break into pieces.

1 (14 ounce) box crispy rice cereal squares (such as Rice Chex®)
1 (12 ounce) box honey graham cereal (such as Golden Grahams®)
2 cups white sugar
2 cups corn syrup
1 ½ cups butter

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Spread coconut out on a baking sheet. Spread almonds onto a separate baking sheet.
  • Bake coconut and almonds in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove baking sheets from oven and stir; continue cooking, stirring every 4 to 5 minutes, until coconut and almonds are golden brown, 5 to 10 minutes.

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Line 15x10x1-inch pan with foil. Spray foil with cooking spray. Place snack mix in large ovenproof bowl.

1 (18 ounce) box Golden Grahams cereal
1 (15 5/8 ounce) box Corn Chex or 1 (15 5/8 ounce) box Rice Chex
1 cup cashews
1 cup craisins
1 1/2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups karo white corn syrup

Steps:

  • Mix cereal, nuts and craisins in a large bowl.

1 tablespoon butter, melted

1 cup mini pretzel twists
2/3 cup white vanilla baking chips
2 tablespoons festive trees or other holiday sprinkles (red, white and green)
2 cups Cinnamon Chex™ cereal
1 cup salted roasted almonds
1/4 cup miniature marshmallows
2 tablespoons candy-coated chocolate candies (red and green)
2 tablespoons milk chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Line 2 large rimmed pans with waxed paper.
  • In large microwavable bowl, add cereal. In small bowl, mix syrup and melted butter. Pour over cereal in bowl; toss to coat evenly. Microwave uncovered on High 2 to 4 minutes, stirring after each minute, until mixture is well coated and thoroughly glazed. Spread mixture in one of the pans to cool.
  • Spread cookies and pretzels in single layer, right side up, in remaining pan.
