Tips:

  • Choose the right chicken. Bone-in, skin-on chicken breasts or thighs work best for this recipe. The bones and skin help to keep the chicken moist and flavorful.
  • Make sure the chicken is cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to check that the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit before removing it from the oven.
  • Don't overcook the chicken. Overcooked chicken will be dry and tough. Cook the chicken just until it is cooked through, then remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  • Use a good quality balsamic vinegar. The balsamic vinegar is the key ingredient in this recipe, so it's important to use a good quality one. Look for a balsamic vinegar that is aged for at least 10 years.
  • Reduce the balsamic vinegar before using it. Reducing the balsamic vinegar will concentrate its flavor and make it more syrupy. To reduce the balsamic vinegar, simply simmer it in a saucepan over medium heat until it has reduced by about half.
  • Brush the chicken with the balsamic glaze frequently. Basting the chicken with the balsamic glaze will help to keep it moist and flavorful. Brush the chicken with the glaze every 15 minutes or so while it is roasting.

Conclusion:

This sweet balsamic glazed chicken is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The chicken is cooked in a flavorful balsamic glaze that is made with balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, and rosemary. The chicken is roasted in the oven until it is cooked through and then served with the balsamic glaze. This dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
