TASTY RAMEN BROCCOLI COLE SLAW
A really nice blend of crisp broccoli, nuts and a tangy sweet dressing! Friends and I have differing opinions on this one.....I like it best when it's first made and the noodles are crunchy, some seem to like it best after a day or two in the fridge when they are softer....it's really good either way!

NUTTY RAMEN BROCCOLI SLAW
I have been making this since I got the 2001 Quick Cooking cookbook. very simple and delicious. I have made just a few changes to the recipe like not putting the ramen noodles, sunflower seeds and almonds in until served, otherwise they become soft and you want them crunchy. I hope you like it as much as we do.

Steps:
- set aside the seasoning for the noodles, crush, place in bowl for later use.
- Put slaw mix, sunflower kernels, almonds, olives, onions, and broccoli in large bowl, mix. next combine sugar (I use a little less sugar), vinegar, and oil in jar and contents of seasoning package, shake well. Drizzle over salad and add the crushed noodles, toss to coat and serve immediately -- uummmm goood!
Tips:
- For the best flavor, use fresh broccoli slaw. If you can't find broccoli slaw, you can make your own by shredding broccoli florets and broccoli stems.
- To make the sweet and sour sauce, you can use store-bought sauce or make your own. If you make your own, be sure to use high-quality ingredients, such as fresh ginger and garlic.
- If you don't have ramen noodles, you can use any other type of noodle, such as soba noodles or rice noodles.
- To make the dish more flavorful, you can add other vegetables, such as carrots, bell peppers, or snap peas.
- If you like spicy food, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes or Sriracha sauce to the sweet and sour sauce.
Conclusion:
Sweet and sour ramen broccoli slaw is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for busy weeknights. The combination of sweet, sour, and savory flavors is sure to please everyone at the table. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give this recipe a try.
