Tips:
- Use fresh pineapple for the best flavor. If using canned pineapple, be sure to drain it well and rinse it before using.
- To easily remove the pineapple core, use a sharp knife to cut around the core and then scoop it out with a spoon.
- Grate the pineapple finely to ensure that it distributes evenly throughout the cake batter.
- Do not overmix the batter, as this can result in a tough cake. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the cake in a preheated oven to ensure that it cooks evenly.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting it. This will help the frosting to set properly.
- Use a cream cheese frosting or a whipped cream frosting for a delicious and creamy topping.
