4 boneless chicken breasts
salt
fresh coarse ground black pepper
1/2 cup swedish vodka
1/2 cup lemon juice
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 crushed bay leaf
1 teaspoon crushed thyme

Tips:

  • Use high-quality meat: Opt for lean and flavorful cuts of beef, chicken, or pork. Look for meat that is well-marinated and tender.
  • Prepare the skewers properly: Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent them from burning.
  • Skewer the meat evenly: Ensure that the meat is evenly distributed on the skewers to ensure even cooking.
  • Grill at a high temperature: Preheat your grill to a high temperature to quickly sear the outside of the meat, locking in the juices and creating a delicious crust.
  • Cook the meat to your desired doneness: Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the meat to ensure it is cooked to your liking.
  • Let the meat rest before serving: Allow the meat to rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more tender and flavorful kebab.
