Tips:

  • To save time, use a pre-made meatloaf mix. You can find these in the freezer section of most grocery stores.
  • If you are using ground beef, make sure to cook it thoroughly before adding it to the meatloaf mixture. This will help to prevent foodborne illness.
  • Be creative with your fillings! You can use anything from cheese and bacon to vegetables and herbs.
  • Make sure to press the meatloaf mixture firmly into the baking dish. This will help to prevent it from falling apart when you cut it.
  • Bake the meatloaf for the recommended amount of time, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the center reads 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before cutting into it. This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the loaf.
