1 1/2 cups cold coconut water
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1 green apple, peeled and chopped
1/2 avocado
2 teaspoons greens powder
2 teaspoons honey or agave
2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

Steps:

  • Blend the greens, coconut water, pineapple, apple, avocado, greens powder, honey, ginger, lemon juice and 1 cup ice in a blender until smooth. Pour into a glass.

  • Steep the tea bag for 2 minutes in the water. Remove the bag and allow the tea to cool. Pour the tea into an ice cube tray and freeze until solid, at least 2 hours.

1 small, ripe, mashed banana (about 1/2 C.)
1/2 C. crushed ice
1 Tbs. orange juice concentrate
1/2 tsp. minced fresh ginger
honey or sugar to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Brew green tea in water. Steep to desired strength and discard tea bag. Refrigerate 30 minutes, or until cool. 2. Puree tea, banana, ice, orange juice concentrate and ginger in blender under smooth. Add sweetener. Drink immediately, or place in freezer for up to two hours, or until ready to serve. (If the smoothie freezes too much, just chop it up with a spoon.)
