1 medium onion, chopped (I like onions so I used a large one)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil (I used olive oil)
2 1/2 cups water
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 small green bell pepper, chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

3 cups water
2 roma (plum) tomatoes, chopped
1 cup chopped onion
¾ cup chopped fresh cilantro, or more to taste

1 cup brown rice
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chicken stock
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon ground cumin
5 g sazon goya

Steps:

  • Rinse brown rinse and drain.
  • In a small sauce pan heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Sauté the rice for a few minutes in the oil.
  • Add the cumin and Sazón Goya and mix well.
