SUPER EASY ICE CREAM!
Here is a simple and delicious ice cream recipe that does not require an ice cream maker! For a different flare try substituting 1/2 cup of the heavy whipping cream with flavored coffee creamer (I would reccomend not using the low fat kind) or egg nog. You can also sub the vanilla for any other flavor extract. Freezing time (cooking time) varies on how shallow your container is. I would sugest using this up within a week for best taste. Enjoy! --Recipe modified from "Quick Cook"

Steps:
- 1. Combine half-and-half, sugar, cocoa and vanilla in a blender; process on low until smooth. Stir in heavy cream. Freeze in an ice cream freezer according to manufacturer's directions. Yield: 1-1/2 quarts.
Tips:
- Chill your ingredients: Before you start making your ice cream, make sure all of your ingredients are chilled. This will help the ice cream freeze more quickly and smoothly.
- Use a good quality ice cream maker: If you want to make the best possible ice cream, invest in a good quality ice cream maker. This will help you control the freezing process and ensure that your ice cream is smooth and creamy.
- Don't over-churn the ice cream: Once the ice cream has reached the desired consistency, stop churning it. Over-churning can make the ice cream grainy.
- Add mix-ins at the end: If you want to add mix-ins to your ice cream, do so at the end of the churning process. This will help to prevent the mix-ins from freezing solid.
- Store the ice cream properly: Once the ice cream is made, store it in the freezer in an airtight container. It will keep for up to two weeks.
Conclusion:
Making ice cream at home is a fun and easy way to enjoy your favorite dessert. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create delicious ice cream that is sure to please everyone. So next time you're craving something sweet, give one of these recipes a try!
